Shhhh...

Kyle started working nights this week. Yesterday, (Sunday) he went in around 10:30 p.m. and did not get home til about 7 a.m today. Right now it is 9 a.m. Monday morning and I have to be quiet because he is going to be sleeping all day. Starting today he goes in at 5:30 p.m . and will work 12 hour shifts. There are even days where he is going to have to pull a double and work in the day as well as work at night. Definitely a change for us. Thankfully, it's only for a week.

In other news, our internet is getting hooked up this week!!! It took us long enough, eh? And for those that don't know, we are actually piggy-backing off of someone else's wireless right now...shhh. So, it will be nice to have our own internet which will be much more reliable. And you know what else this means?!?! We can hook up our magic jack to our pc and start calling YOU! Yes, YOU. I'm sure I will inform you of our new phone number as soon as we get it. It will be a stateside number, probably a NC area code. It won't be long distance for us to call any of you-- whether you are on the east coast or west coast of the U.S. And if you have long distance on your house phone or cell phone, call us--if you'd like! It will be just like you are calling NC except, you're not. You will be calling us in Okinawa with a NC area code! Make sense?

Moving on. In my efforts to be quiet today, I am probably going to go grocery shopping and read this afternoon. I started a new book and it has been hard to put it down. Maybe I'll even do some knitting. My neighbor saw my dishrags and asked me to make her a couple! I also need to mow the lawn, but I'm pretty sure that will wake up sleeping beauty in the bedroom. :-)
