Hard to Believe...

We have been here for almost four weeks! Part of me feels like we have been here for a really long time. But at the same time, I feel like the past couple of weeks have flown by. We moved into our new house. Our express shipment came the beginning of this week and we should get the rest of our belongings within the next couple of weeks. We are slowly getting settled in. Kyle's promotion was on Tuesday. I got to pin his new Corporal chevrons on him. I am very proud of him. He will be replacing a Corporal who is leaving very soon. So, he has a big task ahead of him.

My new favorite store is the 100 Yen store (the dollar store) They have tons of stuff in there.

They even have dried squid and fish. Sounds good, huh?

Here's a McDonalds off base. We do not have any on base. However, we do have a decent variety of fast food joints, including Taco Bell... my fave.

My favorite part of Okinawa... the beaches! Here's some pictures of one of the beautiful beaches. This is about 8 minutes from our house.
