Well, it is 6:25am here, and it was an uneventful night. Joy got about 1 and 1/2 hours of sleep total. The contractions are steadily getting stronger and more regular, but it's still not time to push yet. She's been offered the epidural a couple of times already, but she's holding off on the epidural till it REALLY hurts. She's a strong one. At 4:45am the nurse said that she was dilated 4cm, so at least things are gradually moving along... but not fast enough for either Joy or myself, lol. At this rate, it seems she's not going to have this baby until her actual due date, next Saturday!
Joy is actually in quite a bit of pain, mostly in her hips. She says her hips are aching like crazy and she can barely walk a couple of steps across the room when she has to go the bathroom. But praise the Lord that she can still get up to go to the bathroom! Isaiah is making his way deeper into the birth canal, so that is probably why her hips are killing her right now.
Here we are about 10 minutes ago, the nurse gave her a popsicle. :D

I remember she would progress anymore at one point with Walker, then she got the epidural and Walker was "slipping" out an hour later...
Of course that was after going through 12 hours of contractions
Jamin and I are excited for you guys and praying that this delivery go smoothly...and quickly.
