Well, Joy has been admitted to the hospital!! Her water broke earlier this evening (around 4 or 5) but we didn't know it had broken yet. We had a church potluck fellowship in the evening at 5:30 that we went to and stayed there till about 8. I guess Joy had been "leaking" for pretty much the whole time at the potluck fellowship, but wasn't sure what was going on. So we called the hospital after we got done at church, and they said that we should come in and just see what's up. After we got there around 8:30, and the nurse did a couple of tests, they said that they were going to admit her because her water had broken, even though she was still only 3cm dilated.
She wasn't really progressing very much, so at about 11:30 they decided to give her some Pitocin to help get the contractions going. That was about 3 hours ago. The contractions have been increasing a little bit in intensity and interval, but she is attempting to get some sleep right now because she will most likely need her energy for the pushing in the morning (or later tonight).
I thought I would post a blog to keep everyone informed of the situation. We covet your prayers that this birth would be smooth with no complications and that Joy and Isaiah both remain healthy throughout it all.
I will try to continue to update this as things progress, so keep checking back every so often.

I totally called it that it was going to be today!! YAY! congrats!
We're so excited for you guys! Have been praying since we heard...and before that for things to get started. ;)
