Tropical Storm Morakot

It looks like we have a big storm headed our way! I heard that it is supposed to roll in by Friday! Currently the status on the tropical storm is TCCOR 3. Which means that destructive winds of 50 knots or greater are possible within 48 hours. And that we are to initiate a general cleanup around homes and offices. I'm really not too worried since I've been through a good amount of typhoons/hurricanes in my lifetime. Especially from living here before as well as living in NC. And most people know the amount of hurricanes that roll through the south. I have the notion that we are mainly just going to get strong winds and lots of rain. Nonetheless, we have our basic items prepared i.e. batteries, flashlights, water. This will be the first typhoon of the season! If you want to follow along and see what happens, you can click here.
