Anyways, not surprisingly, life has been busy lately! Kyle finished up Corporal's Course last week and guess what? He was the honor graduate out of his class of 71 students! He worked and studied very, very, hard and God really blessed him for it. Honor graduate means he had the highest GPA out of the whole class. He received a brand new NCO sword as a reward. It's pretty sweet (as Kyle would say.) I totally have pictures of his graduation ceremony as well as pics of the sword, but they are on my computer which does not have internet right now. So, I'll have to transfer them over to this computer- someday. Now Kyle is back at his shop and is trying to apply what he learned in the course to his work place. He starts a college course on Saturday.
In other news, we joined Central Baptist Church a couple of Sundays ago. We are thankful to be a part of a body of believers again. We have started back up with music and are grateful for the opportunity to serve. I was also able to help out with VBS last week, which was great! Not a lot of children came, but just the right amount for the amount of workers we had. I was able to help out with the music and this past Sunday we performed the songs in church. It was a really fun time. We had a few Japanese children attend so there were translators in most every classroom. It is so cool to see God's Word spread to all people of all nations. I am hoping to get involved with the ESL (English as second language) ministry at church. It would be such a rewarding outreach to help Japanese folks learn English as well as present the Gospel to them. So along with getting involved at church, I have been able to spend a good amount of time with the ladies in church (i.e. for birthdays, lunches, getting pedicures, or exploring the island.) I am so thankful that God has placed these people in my life and allowed me to be friends with them. It's also nice going out exploring with people who know the Japanese language! It's like having my own personal tour guide. :)
No news as far as a job for me, yet. I have my name and resume out there, so we shall see. I manage to keep myself fairly busy, though it wouldn't hurt to have some other extra curricular activities to occupy my time.
Last weekend, Kyle and I went snorkeling. It was amazing!!! We went with an older Filipino gentleman (Max) in our church who is also a dive master. He's seriously like a FISH! We also went with my friend Dolyse from church. She is also Filipino and so funny! Max took us to some really cool spots and it literally felt like I was swimming in an aquarium. By far, it was better then the actual aquarium!! The deepest part we swam out to was probably about 30-40 feet. It was so cool. I couldn't believe how far out we were. The ocean floor was covered with starfish, sea urchins, and sea cucumbers. We saw so many fish swimming around. Some fish so rare you would only really be able to see in an aquarium. We even saw a sea snake. Eeek. I don't like snakes. But it left us alone. It was all I could do to keep myself from imagining a shark coming out of no where and grabbing us. haha! But, Max assured us that it was not likely that we would see a shark. I have a couple of pictures from that day as well. We got some some starfish as a souvenir. :) Anyways, after snorkeling, Max's wife prepared us an amazing Filipino meal for lunch (made me miss my momma) and then they gave us a tour around where they live off base. It was a really fun day.
Well, I gotta run, so that's all for now. I will try my best to post pictures of our latest adventures. Hope everyone is doing well!!! Love to all.

Yeah! Thanks for blogging! :) I was wondering how life was treating you two and it's so good to hear how you're doing and what fun adventures you have been up to! :)
I'm thankful that you've gotten plugged in to your church and that you are welcomed and getting connected to good, solid relationships with them! Yeah you for diving back into the music ministry!
I've gotten the nesting bug again and am making pillow shams for our bed...yes an actual bed, not just a mat on the floor anymore! Also curtains/valences. :)
Can't wait to see your pics! :)
