Make Up Organizer

So obviously this isn't a crafting blog, but since it is supposed to be a glimpse into our lives I wanted to show you my latest project. I've been seeing this magnetic make up organizer floating around the blog-o-sphere and decided to make one for myself. I figure since my make up bag looks quite cluttered and messy this would help me to feel a little more organized. Anyways, mine turned out pretty much like hers except not. Since I wasn't sure where I would find a sheet of metal, instead of using a picture frame I went to the Yen (dollar) store and bought a little magnetic black board and put some decorative paper on it. I then stuck some little magnets on the back of my make up and there ya go! I'm pleased with how it turned out. And since I really don't have that much make up, the smaller board works great and won't take up as much room on the wall once I get it hung up!



I got those nifty little magnetic holders at the Yen store as well. The green one is the same size as the pink one, but the angle I took the picture at makes it look monstrous.  :)
