Isaiah feeding Izzy

This is generally what happens when I turn my back while Isaiah is eating....

Caught ya! And did you notice Isaiah's "new" high chair? I picked it up off the side of the road one night while "curb shopping." It was in perfect condition! Just hosed it off, sprayed some cleaning solution on it and voila! I also got some other really good finds that night. It's PCS season, so a lot of people are moving off island which generally means people are cleaning out house. I LOVE finding stuff on the side of the road. I always grab it (as long as it's in decent condition) even if I don't necessarily need it. Often times, I'll try and sell it on the local yardsale site. I know a lot of people who say they don't "do" used items or thrift stores or go 'dumpster diving', but on the budget we are trying to live on, I can't be too picky! Free or used is generally the route I go. :)

free or used is the best way to go!

I'm all in for free or used. :)...as long as it's still in good condition. :)

Way to go!

I loved trash day and moving day when my kids were young... it's hard to make ends meet with a growing family. There's nothing in the world wrong with free/used stuff (even picked up off the curb). It's sometimes shameful the things people throw away... what a waste!
