Went to the doctor today and had a checkup. I am 14 wks and 4 days. Basically all they did was check the heartbeat and pass on some information to me. It was SOOOOO COOL to hear the heartbeat!!! I couldn't stop smiling and all I could say was, "WOW!! That's amazing!!" The heart rate was at 158 beats. I asked the doctor if it was accurate when people say it is a boy if the heart rate is slower and a girl if it is faster. Pretty much the answer I got from him was that it was hog-wash and pretty arbitrary. Haha. But he did say my baby had a very healthy heartbeat. So that was good news. My next appointment is in about a month and they will do an ultrasound and Lordwilling we will be able to find out the sex of the baby! Soo excited. Though I've already determined in my head that it will be a boy. :) So here is my 14 week picture...for those that are interested and don't believe that I'm pregnant. ;) Good thing you can't see up close... I'm starting to have hairy fuzz on my belly!!!

Yes, I found your blog address.... hadn't heard from you, so I took some time digging through your fb site until I found the post with your blog on it. That took a little while, but oh well. I figure you're really busy and distracted with little things like earthquakes, tsunami's....you know minor things like that. ;)
Allergy season has hit really hard and early here. I'm able to be on my meds now (wasn't for like a week!), so I'm handling it better. Before the meds my eyes were like angry puddles, nose a river, and I sounded like a wheezing wind. Lots of sneezes too.
Jamin has had work every week now for the past three or four weeks, so we're feeling optimistic about that. :)
I can't wait to find out if you're having a boy or a girl. The Mills track-record says boy, but the picture in my brain for you is a girl. We'll see, huh? :)
