MERRY CHRISTMAS!

* This post was SUPPOSED to have pictures from our Christmas weekend, but unfortunately Blogger is not letting me download any. Grrrr. I will try to get them on Facebook soon! *

Well, I've entered back into the blog-o-sphere. It's been almost 4 months since the last time I blogged. A lot has happened in the past couple of months. I will try and slowly fill you in on what's been going on. A lot of it will have to do with a little boy named Isaiah. :)  But for now, hopefully you will enjoy this "Merry Christmas" post.

Christmas day is coming to a close here. It's been a great day. On Christmas Eve we invited a few families from church over for dinner and we had a little gingerbread party. Kyle actually baked most of the gingerbread- it turned out so yummy! We bought a bunch of candy and decorated the house with our friends. I'd say the house turned out well! An overload on sweets for sure.

Today we started out the morning with Kyle reading the Christmas story from the book of Luke. We actually didn't really have any gifts to open. Kyle and I both have items we ordered online that haven't come in yet that are considering our Christmas presents. And Isaiah got a new stash of diapers. He was pretty excited about that. Haha. I'm just joking. I've actually been looking for a slightly used bouncer or walker (he loves the ones at church) but I haven't found any that aren't super expensive. Sorry Isaiah, you're mommy is cheap. :) But around here, people are always selling nice things, so I'm sure one will pop up soon. Anyways, the rest of the morning we relaxed  as a family for a bit and then went to a big party put on by the Filipino group at our church. It was a great time. And if anyone is familiar with Filipinos- they like to eat!! There was SO much food. To say that I am stuffed right now would be an understatement. We played lots of games, had a devotion, exchanged gifts and had fun just spending time with our adopted families.

I hope everyone back home has a wonderful Christmas! We miss you all and are looking forward to being able to spend the holidays with family. I can't believe this is already our second Christmas here! One more year and we will be off this little island. It has flown by and I have a sneaky suspicion 2011 will also fly.

I loved your blog! It's good to read and stay connected. :) Sorry about no presents under the tree. :( Us Mills family sent off your presents a few days before Christmas, so hopefully you'll get them for New Years at least! :) ha

They're wrapped and everything, so if you leave up your tree, you can put them under it before you open them. ;)

We love you guys and miss you.
