Checking in.

I thought I'd check in with you all and let you know what's been going on. Not to disappoint you, but not a whole lot has been happening recently. Kyle has been busy with work and college. And I have been plugging away at piano lessons. I have really been enjoying teaching and getting to know my students. They are so fun and I love being able to build relationships with them.  I've already had a few of them say they will really miss me when I leave to have the baby. Aww! It's such a reward to see them practice and the results that come from their hard work. Although I do have a few of "those students" who seem to think that piano lessons means it's time to goof off. Sometimes I think a nice smack upside the head would do them good, but that just seems mean and I usually try to contain myself. :)

As far as baby is concerned... he is GROWING! I'm having more and more people ask me when I am due. And of course I still get the awkward people who want to ask but aren't positive if I'm pregnant. So I try to make it obvious by rubbing my belly profusely or just tell them... "yeah, I'm a little over 5 months..." My belly is rock hard and it's so funny because I can always feel Isaiah in a certain spot of my stomach because that part of my belly bulges out a little bit. He seems to really like that spot though. He hangs out there a lot. Lol. I am starting to feel him squirming around a little bit more now. It really is such an amazing feeling. I don't feel him all the time, but it's such a treat when I do feel him move. After talking to grandma on the phone a few times she is constantly reminding me to talk to the baby and acknowledge him in the womb. So on occasion I'll play the piano for him. I've been working on a Mozart piece and have gotten the first page down pretty well. When I get to the other pages of the song, it still sounds pretty rough. So I usually end up playing the first page over and over again. Haha. Hopefully he doesn't get tired of it. I do play him other music, but I'm hoping the classical music will help make him a smart little boy. LOL. We shall see....

Oh, and for those who are concerned about Izzy... she's doing well. Got a bath yesterday so she smells nice and fresh. She also told me to stop posting pictures of her on the Internet because it embarrasses her. ;)

It's great that you've developed such great relationships with your students...but who wouldn't love you!?! :)

You have a totally cute baby-bump and I'm so glad everything is going well for you and baby!
