Hungry for Seafood?

Just wanted to share a couple of pictures taken in a local grocery store in the seafood section. It's really hard to believe some of the things Japanese people eat (they probably say the same about us!)  And often times they will eat it raw. Nothing like a nice octopus tentacle rolled up with rice and wrapped in seaweed! And occasionally, I'll see some tentacles or some kind of creepy crawly coming out of my food or in my soup. Kyle is actually fond of a lot of the different kind of sushi. Me.... not so much. But I'm a person that can't even handle their steak a little pink! I like my food to be cooked and well done, please! And of course, not all sushi is raw. I'm actually quite a fan of the sushi with cucumber in it. Most of the food here is absolutely delicious, though! Going out is always an adventure and can be quite interesting. Especially when your waiter doesn't understand any English. Kyle and I usually just smile and nod.

This first picture is of fish eggs! I've usually only seen them as a topping on sushi. YUM. (Just kiddin')
